These are the materials I use but you may use the materials you like and provide the protection you are looking for.

2 20cm - 2cm pieces of Tshirt Strips = 8” - ¾”
2 soft elastic ponytail holders

FOR THE NOSE WIRE:
Half pipe Cleaner, or 10cm =4” of lined floral wire [lined with batting] 10cm by 2cm of batting to line the wire.
