Great tutorial ! To make my videos myself I purchased a tripod and bought a tablet and regular cell phone attachment that screwed onto the tripod. You can find the tripod and the holder on Amazon or eBay for cheep. it makes doing your own videos so easy.

Hello there. I love love love luv love love luv your video! I've never done this before and I'm doing a prom dress for my granddaughter and I want it to be right. She wants it in layers though starting from her knees. So I'm thinking I will need to probably put it on like you show but do 3 rows. Then cut the second and fourth layers? What I’m confused about is... if the length needs to be 22” to the floor, isn’t the tulle longer/wider than that and then it will be too long on the client and drag on the ground?

DustiRags No. Your base is 22. You have the option of that starting 2 to 3 in above or how ever many inches up ! So it won’t drag. Or when the client comes for a fitting you can always have her put heels on, she might love it ORR get your sissors and cut the tulle on her / don’t over think

So if you were going to do this on a tulle bottom for a dress with a train, would you need to do anything different or would the concentric circle technique work even though you'd be sewing more of an oblong route instead of a circle? Does that make sense?
