Really fascinating. I have always been fascinated by short bows.

You are amazing. I have had a seven foot piece of Osage Orange in my garage for twenty years. It has a fine grain and a lot of little knots. I wish I knew a bow maker to give it to. Michigan, USA Detroit area

So how wide are the mid limbs? And how thick is the handle area? (Not width but thickness for it to bend and work)

I heard that Steve Alley guy helped you TONS with Hupa bow information for a couple of years before you came out with this. Where's any of the credit to him, or did you just takel the info and run with it?

Based on his location, the particulars of the knots, and the heartwood, my guess is juniper. Although there's not nearly as much cracking and checking I usually see in juniper.
