The device that allows you to transfer power from one phone to another is called a micro USB OTG. The way it works is it connects to the charging port Input of the phone at the same size of the USB connector Output but functions like a USB connector Input by being plugged into the charging port Input of the phone battery as a power source so when you plug in the USB connector Input into the micro USB OTG, the USB connector Input will send that 5 Volt DC 1 Amp current from the Input to the USB Connector Output and the Output is where you plug in your phone to charge it at the phone's charging port Input of the battery. A cool concept that I tried at school on Friday March 4th 2022 during school was when I wanted to take the charging port Input of my phone and connect an electrical appliance (Example: Stringed Lights) into the charging port Input of my phone so the charging port Input of my phone can send power from the phone's battery to the electrical appliance so I can try to get the electrical applicane to get turned on from my phone's battery as a power source by having something plugged in at the charging port but that didn't work as a student named Kai saw me and said "Hey Joey, your phone won't power these lights" because I'll have to use a USB OTG to send power from my phone's charging port Input of the battery to the Input of the USB Connector and then to the Output of the USB connector which will then send that 5 Volt DC Current from my phone's battery into a transformer that will change that 5 Volt DC Current into 120 Volt AC Current and then the Stringed Lights will be plugged in at the Input of the DC to AC transformer. Here's more about this sequence 1. Charging port Input of my phone's battery 2. The Input of the USB Connector 3. The Output of the USB Connector 4. the Input the DC to AC transformer 5. The Output of the DC to AC transformer 6. The Male Prong plug (Output Plug) of the Stringed Lights plugged into the DC to AC transformer

You can charge like that almost any phone but I'm not sure about Apple's stuff. They always have a bunch of limitations and problems...
