I wish more videos were direct and to the point like this... Been shopping around for expensive wifi extenders/ repeaters with Ethernet ports because for whatever reason... For whatever stupid reason my wireless adapter won't pick up my network on my new desktop, but the laptop picks it up just fine .... About to test this on windows 10. Wish me luck.... Remind me (comment) and I'll confirm if the same method worked for windows 10. Good video. Cheers bud.

I found easy way just goto network connection --> rignt click at WiFi adapter --> choose properties-->click sharing tab --> Allow other network... --> plug LAN cable between NB and PC --> End.

You are a god ! Great tips, quick vid, and awesome editing. I was stuck unable to connect my ps4 but you helped. Now here's something that can help speed up the process even more ! instead of restarting your laptop, you can reset the internet settings using the command prompt in windows : To access Command Prompt or Power Shell, right-click on your Start menu and select either Command Prompt or Windows Power Shell. When the window opens, type the following commands followed by Enter: ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew Et voilà, now connect your PS4 and choose set up Internet connection, Select easy mode and leave all addresses and settings to automatic, and you should be able to connect.

Hey, Its an easy solution. Right click on your Wifi - Properties - Sharing Tab, and UNCHECK the TOP BOX (First Box). Try again and its gonna work like a charm.

i think so. Feed it into one of the numbered ports of the modem and it will feed out the other ports, you have to set something ( see google) but i do think it is possible.

make the settings default if you can. If you cant, try to right click the ethernet port and click through stuff untill you can make it so it is not being used by internet connection sharing....

Also, be sure that your settings in the "properties" for wifi and ethernet connections are default. you may have to google what exact settings are default. I hope this helps. Additionally, the network may not identify... but you still may be sharing the connection. I may be wrong on that last part but its worth just trying to connect. good luck!
