My father have a collection of knives and machetes. He used to spend hours sharpen the one he loves. As a kid I find the sharpening of knives is fascinating. Now he's gone. Its up to me to keep sharpening his knives. I really miss him. May his soul rest in peace...

My dad, as a teen during "The Depression Era" (he was born in 1918), joined the U.S. Government's "C.C. Corp". As he was the newbie and youngest, they gave him the job of sharpening all their knives (especially as most men, especially in the South, carried pocket knives). As I grew up, there was always sharpening items at our house, a small rotating round/grinding stone that clamped onto a work table, large sharpening stones in a kitchen drawer, etc. But, I never thought to ask Dad how to use a sharpening stone, a whetstone. I didn't realize you literally had to WET them! Thanks for giving me introductory info on how to sharpen. I still have dad's stuff, plus knives, including several of Dad's pocket knives, plus all kinds of kitchen knives & carving knives (set, actually, including big knife, fork, & sharpening rod(?)), some of them originating from my parents, grandparents, and possibly great-grandparents! My Dad was 96 when he died in 2014, which was pretty average in both the families; so you can see how long these knives have been actually used! In addition, my late fiance was also a blacksmith, so I also have small knives he made, plus short swords he smithed to also keep sharp as well. Thanks again!

This is great, I was in a bind needing too cut up two bodies, luckily this tutorial made it much easier and I was done before the cops showed. 10/10, would recommend...

How long does it take per body? The cops don’t know yet but they’re bound to come eventually

Just a tip, use dmt stones, spderco stones, and 2 strops. On one strop have a green chromium oxide compound and on the other diamond compound.

It's not that complicated, we don't need so much detail. Rub knife on stone. Feel burr, rub again, then rub some more. Always strop.
