Leatherwork is such a relaxing outlet for creative work. It becomes an addiction but it’s a healthy addiction.

I haven’t been good with a swivel knife but I have finally broke down and purchased a Barry King swivel knife and I am making it my personal goal to get better. Obviously a sharp blade is key to moving towards that goal. Thanks for this video and so many more.

Thanks for the video Tim. Where do you get the polishing compound you use? I've really been enjoying the Tuesday Tips.

I previously used Formax, it's a green chrome oxide compound, and I liked it a lot. The stuff in the video is Veritas brand from LeeValley. I just got it and opened it for the video, but I don't think I like it as much. The chrome oxide is suspended in wax, so it applies to the leather better when it is warm. The wax in the Veritas seems a little harder, so I might just need to warm it up more. The Formax you can buy on Amazon, I have a link up in the video description.
