I just shipped a wreath that I had made for a friend from Charlotte to Pennsylvania and it costs me over $50, and to ship! Apparently there was still some dim weight on it and I used USPS. 🙄. Thank you! I only buy from boxes from Lowes. From what I’ve researched they have the best prices. Some sites have great box prices but the shipping messes it up. As far as for tape I buy the big 9 pack from Walmart and it lasts me a while. I tend to over tape my boxes. Thanks for watching

I'm assuming this is for the post office. I just shipped a wreath in a box about 16 inches with UPS (line at post office was ridiculously long) and it cost $36. Yikes! Definitely will be shipping with the post office.

Yes it’s USPS. I print my labels at home so I can bypass the line and just drop it on the counter. I hate waiting.

I’m taking it to the Post Office to mail and wondered where do I put the shipping address? Do I hand write in on the box, or do I tell the post office where it is going and they print the label for me with the address? I’m so confused on how to do this.

Thanks. The wire wreath base is 14 inches so it fits snugly into the box. The mesh just moves up the sides.

I use the 14 inch frames from dollar tree. Mine are in there tightly but I’ve never had a complaint before. It helps keep the wreath from moving around a lot.

I understand. At first I used to be scared to ship them that way. I had a friend order a wreath so I used her to find out how it shipped in that size box. Her wreath was 26“ x 6”. When she had no issues, and I saw how cheap it was to ship it that way, that’s when I started doing it that way. I Sell on Etsy and Facebook and I’ve never had a complaint. But do what’s comfortable for you.

I can’t seem to find anything online that’s 26 inches. I’ve made custom boxes before for large Christmas swags. I just did a little math and turned two boxes into one. I used really strong tape (ALOT of strong tape).

Yes it should be the same. I would buy a box that’s 12x12 and just cut it down to the width you need. Shoot for 5 inches or less. I found this link to a good box at home depot but they don’t have it for sale individually. You may be able to find it in store.
