@@escapewithme8910what part was unclear? Happy to further explain it :)
@escapewithme89105 ай бұрын
@@erikhedenfalk it’s not that it wasn’t clear. In fact, it was pretty straight forward. It was more like the pace of the explanation aha. I’ll appreciate it heaps if you’re able to explain it whenever you got the time. Otherwise, i can totally understand. Already learned a lot from this video alone😊🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I have several questions. Something I’m still struggling with. I see you shoot with bmpcc, isn’t it difficult for you to pull focus while run and gun filming? How do you achieve that perfect white commercial look in your videos? How do you setup your white balance in camera? I always get some tint in my colors, seems like wb is always a bit off. How do you plan your shots? Do you get inspiration from somewhere or do you have them in your mind? And lastly how do you keep yourself from not burning out? How do you scale your production and ideas to the next level? Because I follow you for a long time now and with every video you make you are better and better
@erikhedenfalk5 ай бұрын
@@tomislavliposekthanks for the support and kind words! I use a manual focus motor sometimes, the bm films in raw so I can change the WB in post. Inspiration are another creators, commercials, movies, and then I note down ideas that I get from the different videos. I do burn out, always struggled with this, but best advice is to not do everything on your own, get a team you enjoy working with :)

@Jay-R_Seven5 ай бұрын
Hi. In your video where you shot with the iPhone 15 as one of the examples there are a lot of fast sequences and transitions around 2-5 seconds. Can you show me how to do that? And the thought process behind it?
You are great 👏🏻 Generally do you believe that is it still possible to become a travel videographer and make good money with it? Because some guys told that the market is very saturated 😢
@erikhedenfalk5 ай бұрын
thank you!! It's definitely a different landscape now compared to five years ago when I started, it's oversaturated in a lot of ways, mainly due to the algorithms screwing over people not strictly following trends I would say. I can personally feel how difficult it is

the only question i have would be: what would you tell a beginner travel creator in terms of advice on how to break into this kind of travel market?

hmm... it's a very difficult question, I would say the easiest way to start is to try as much as possible, say yes to work and starting out with commercial work and building up your skills and portfolio first is a sustainable option
