Christian, You have made a very beautiful and informative presentation of the Milky Way’s photographic features and the post processing of colour grading . The Milky Way is getting shiny and glowing splendid. I am grateful for your hiking and camping for pursuing the most stunning cosmos phenomenon. Your photos are spectacular and breathtaking. Brilliant illustration of editing in Lightroom and Photoshop. I learned more from you. Thank you so much for your wonderful creative artworks!

A lens warmer is also good to bring to avoid the lens fogging up

A lens warmer is certainly something you want to have when getting more invested in astrophotography!

Wow, you've inspired this Aussie living in Northern Germany to drive down to the alps in the coming weeks for some astrophotography. Just need to get myself a map, sleeping bag, tent and potentially some bear-spray 😉 Great video!
@ThePhlogPhotography4 ай бұрын
Thats great to hear, I hope you will get some great shots there! Dont worry about bears though, they are kind of rare in the alps (except for northern italy and maybe slovenia) :-)

Again, very structured and well organized video, covering everything from A to Z. And I mean it, because as a newcomer to this world, I tend to consume a lot of educational content, even from big names like Sean Bagshaw or Nigel Danson. What is interesting here is that there is a subjective variation, some sort of compatibility with certain photographers. So it can happen that a big LR and PS guru might not fit to the learning style of everyone. Of course, that does not mean that you, Christian, are anything less than them, it is just that I find your style - especially in the editing part - one of the most balanced, structured and not rushed teaching style. Hence the subscription! Or, in other words: du hast mich überzeugt, Herr Möhrle, einfach weitermachen! Vielen Dank!

@@ThePhlogPhotography you welcome! And be sure that I'm very sincere, no empty words. Your videos act like "indirect encouragement" for those like me. Every time I think editing can be challenging, i watch 1-2 videos from you and....I start to believe in myself that most probably I'm not that begginer anymore and I can succeed.

I like how you removed the green tint from the sky then you introduced it right back

Interesting video, Christian, thanks. I wonder if you sync all edits made to this one frame back to the remaining frames before creating your timelapse through LRTimelapse (I suppose). I am asking because LRTimelapse recommends to introduce unedited frames to the program and edit them during workflow which I find to give you less options than editing everything upfront first.
@ThePhlogPhotography4 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment! I made this with LRTimelapse, but my approach was criminally wrong for this scene :D I wanted to quickly get this timelapse sequence without much editing so I edited one frame in LR, synchronized ever frame in Lightroom, then exporeted directly via LRtimelapse. You can see the sequence getting a super heavy blue color cast towards the end which is easily prevented using the correct LRtimelapse workflow :-)
@corradowohlwend41564 ай бұрын
Wow! I have never heard of THIS workflow! No wonder you call it criminal. :)

Sadly, that didnt work out as expected because of youtube comment restrictions :( BUT, I do have another idea for a video where everyone can participate, just need some time to work on the video!

Hi, where exactly was the spot with the see panorama for this milky way picture? How to get there? And did you really sleep there the whole night? Was it not too cold?
@ThePhlogPhotography4 ай бұрын
Hey, that was the Silvrette Stausee and yes, we were there the whole night. If you have a proper sleeping bag and sleeping pad, its really cozy up there in the summer months! :-)

Superb. Is it possible to capture using 50mm F1.8 lens with the shutter speed around 15sec
@ThePhlogPhotography4 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for the comment, 15 seconds for 50mm is a little too long. if you're shooting on full frame that would be 500 / 50 = ~10 seconds max. exposure time
