Your instructions to your subjects is very cinematic... You seem to function like a film director working with actors... Which means that you're very fluid and open to the creative process... And to collaboration with your subjects... Which is honestly the best way to be... Thank you for this video.

Great video. It is interesting to see you using your RB67 and metering prism, handheld. I used to have one, but it was only used on a tripod due to the weight. After shooting solely digital for the past 10 years, I've recently gone back to medium format and film with a Bronica SQ-A. I love the film look, taking pictures with a mechanical camera and the process of home developing my negatives.

Keep doing this. Inspire other people to work on their craft. I’ve been shooting for over 10 years and still don’t think I’m qualified to be paid to teach. Maybe I’m giving too much game for free. Good shit.

That's awesome! I think you just described what I want to do as a photographer. I live in Montreal and we have those kind of iconic "back-streets" called "ruelles" which are really unique to the city. For some reasons, I have never thought about shooting with a subject there. I think we're often looking for that "wow" location and we forget the everyday day beauty that's around us. I will get this lessons as soon as I'm able to afford it. Cheers!
