For those whose post hood got worse after the patch it may be time to look for a different cue. I was able to shoot them effectively off “feel” but since timing is more strict iv gone to looking at my players feet. When your guy jumps and lands to begin the post hop that’s when you let it go. Seem to be improving as time goes on

I don’t care to play a game that you have to absolutely perfectly shoot a shot to make it in, it’s a game not real life lol. I don’t think so, only your jumpshots. It’ll effect your pull ups, stop and pops, hop jumpers, and fades. From my experience, layups have the same release timing no matter what release you use. You wanna release the ball right before it releases his hand.

Can someone please tell me what’s the proper speed? I am a MyEra player and the players are moving terribly slow when on ball. If they are on defense, everything looks great but when they have ball, they are like astronauts walking in the moon😢 My game speed is 75 and still moving so slow with the ball. I tried searching for speed with ball settings in sliders but I dont see any unlike in 2k23. Can anybody help me pls?😭

I have an 86 OVR with 83 3 point shot and I can’t make a damn shot to save my life on 2k24… it’s like the Kobe edition MAKES you play like him and have to earn every badge upgrade and that makes the game better but at the same time worse because it exposes everyone who took advantage of just being able to go Hall of Fame on a badge without actually doing what the badge is specified for

For me it's just a matter of latency - I will probably use push (late) for mycareer nba games and i'll try jump (very early) or set point (early) depending on the lag online (rec or park).

Yea I think I’m gonna switch to jump. I be been using Set Point and I’m at around 50% from 3. But it looks like Jump in this video is where you release the button when he brings the ball to the top of his head and that’s what I’m used too. It’s a MUCH easier cue to look for

Not sure if this is what you meant but you can change the “Pro Stick Function” in the controller settings to Dribble Moves will disable the right stick shooting and you can just use X/Square to shoot.

If you pause the video at :56. This is the visual cue. Almost all shots line up for that green window. As 'Release' is just hitting that 'green window' mark, 'Very Late'. But all is around the same, or that 500-565ms, window.

I’m having the same issues, and I go by cue. I was having games going 10/11, 8/8. I mean I couldn’t miss. Ever since the patch, it feels like my shot is never consistent. Within games. One shot, it feels like my cue was lined up. Next it doesn’t but I green it. I have no idea what this could be, and I don’t think it’s just a lack of latency.
