I'm glad this is being acknowledged in T8.... sure she has some silly shit but so does the entire roster, and while many are braindead and requires less effort to win, Xiaoyu is on the harder side. I have to think so hard when trying to win with her, whereas when I use Alisa, Reina, and Nina, winning comes easier. Although she has a lot of stances, you have to use all of it very strategically and differently against different characters. Idk it's just rough out here online with Xiaoyu. No one ever uses her much in tournaments and her win rate is very low compared to other characters, even in T7. So when the community always called her cheap and braindead, I never understood wtf they meant. If that were the case, she'd be top tier in tournaments and her online win rate would be higher.

@@VillainessAO tekken 8 community calls every character in the game cheap xia alisa claudio panda/kuma zafina has the lowest pickrates in the game and ive seen people call them cheap/overpowered which is honestly crazy to me even reina also she has the HIGHEST winrate but the lowest winrate in the game by far but people tend to call her overpowered too i fear for the future if the community this whiny

Ling is brain dead and completely carried by your cheese. It’s not even funny but you can duck under a rage art and do so much more bullshit and your execution is complete shit.

The Xiaoyu player canceled the last hit of the string to go into BT so the B2,2 caught her from behind.

B 1+3 parries mids, highs and kicks.

B1+3 parries punches and kicks that are high and mid. The parry doesn’t work against elbows, knees, aerial attacks, and unblockables though.

jun asuka is a really low tier character her buffs really didnt contribute much to her character

Asuka has better mechanics in heat since her stance got buffed and she can packed on a lot of pressure with plus frames.

This comment means a lot to me. Seeing someone mention my name alongside pro Tekken players they love is so surreal. I am also big fan PTJ’s Jun myself. The way they optimize her is so satisfying to watch and I honestly wish to have those skills too while blending in my flavor to her. There’s also another Asian Jun player I like to watch called Potive. You should definitely check them out if you haven’t already! Of course I watch Fergus as well! ❤️

Very much so. I think she excels more in long sets. But let’s wait and see what they do with her in the next patch.
