I work as the Tech Director at my church. We have a community of deaf and hard of hearing members (we are one of few in the area, so we have quite a large group!). Since I deal with lighting and video components (among other things) I have gotten to this community and their needs quite well. We chat regularly about their experience and what needs they have - it's so important for us all to be able to participate equally and seamlessly. Thankfully we have a wonderful interpreter to help me! She's great at what she does, but it's just hard speaking and hearing through someone else. I found your channel while looking for resources to learn ASL. I can't thank you enough. It means so much to my new friends that I'm learning their language, and I have been blessed with a new family of deeply loving and wonderful people. Thanks for helping us get to know each other better. And thanks for your vlog - I appreciate your vulnerability and your sharing even when it's hard. Seeing that makes us all better ❤️ Hang in there!

Ashley... I am following you from long long time... I came to know about ASL from the movie "Snowden(2016)" Since that day (somewhere in the year 2017) I was searching for good content about ASL so that I can learn and help myself to communicate with everyone After that search KZbin started recommending your videos.... And FINALLY My SEARCH WAS FINISHED.. I am from India, & All i want to say that I am blessed to have you in my life irrespective of any medium.. I love you alot & admire your dedication, passion and discipline I came to know that you have gone through from rough patch.. & appreciate your self-help attitude have faith in THE ENERGY Just take good care of yourself...
