Always a good lesson. I sing the song over and over until I know it so good that I can start anywhere. The guitar comes later but it takes practice. Thanks.

Your upbeat motivation has really helped with my playing. I'm still very much a beginner and there have been times I feel like I've hit a wall, but I always pick something up from your videos, thank you!!

basically start singing while sound downstrums then practice strum down down up down up then try and look somewhere for a bit. once you get comfortable with that, start say singing it in your head then soon your pick up the six string and sing

It’s been months to get the timing with singing. But I’ve seen progress lately. It’s very promising. ..I almost want to say I got it! But I’m holding off just a bit.

Hey i just concentrate on my Guitar ,, let my wife doing the singing'!!But i still having problem with the last song Homesick by Kane Brown you taught with slapping the guitar after the strum
@bobbykoller20033 жыл бұрын
For me it's keeping the strumming rhythm that gets lost when I try to sing. I can keep better time and rhythm when I just down strum. Hopefully it's something I will over come with practice.
@brettwalker84533 жыл бұрын
You will. Pick a strum like down/down up/down up/down and practice some songs where it sounds good. Then another style strum! Good luck, practice and be patient w yourself!

Matt, I wanted to ask you a stupid question. Do you happen to have trouble breathing through your nose and the only reason i am asking is because I struggled with it for years and I sounded a lot like you when I spoke. When I spoke it felt like I couldn’t get enough are in . Come to find out I had a deviated septum and had a to have surgery to fix it, I can breath 100% better. Just thought I’d share that with you.
