King is one of my biggest influences, even tho i just make silly Comedy Rock/Pop, whatever i feel like i always try to incorporate falsettos that is highly influenced by the King! Andy also for his magical sense of melodic guitar solos.

If you want to hear King Diamond in full voice, check out Pagan's Mind's cover of At the Graves.

His albums are a trip. I would always listen to the album in its entirety, reading along. The lyrics are written like a script for a play, and each voice represented a character in the story. My favorite KD album is The Eye, which loosely follows some actual people and actions from the French Inquisition, but with a bit of a horror fiction twist. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that it would be great hearing your version of any of his songs in your style. It would be different than him but it would sound amazing.

My favourite KD album is The Graveyard - so many bangers and wild playing from Andy LaRoque. I really love Individual Thought Patterns, the album he did with Death also - huge influence on my lead playing.

Han har vært min favorittsanger/musiker siden jeg var tenåring. Jeg husker at jeg så intervjuet hans fra 1980-tallet da en lærer på videregående skole kranglet med ham om religion. Det hele var på dansk. Jeg prøver å finne den.

@@FoundationVocalStudio well, i digrees, it is true that is somewhat old, but as a former orchestra musician, i do not find anythin older than 100 years old, old. I will though admit for the modern conumer, 40 years are old, but in my spectrum it is still young if not average age at best. and i am but 33 years old myself.
