Ever notice a pattern... heroin addicts are often great singers. I'm not suggesting heroin - the obvious detail is that they were cheating - when you're on heroin you are very relaxed, and guess what - you sing really well when you're relaxed. So, the trick is to learn to relax with no crutch. I am still working on this myself.

Went through your program for some actual formal training. Thank you Aarron for everything my man! I have been an all around musician for over 20 yrs. I sang earlier in life in a couple of bands, but mostly guitar, drums and bass. I had a severe left ring finger dislocation at work a few months back and had to revisit vocals. After your program, I now have the confidence and ability to be a full time vocalist. For anyone who has not tried any of your lessons, really should. As long as you put in the work and do not skip over material that may not seem very fun... hang in till the end. Push through and your spirit will shine! Awesome teacher!

My personal advice is to sing some notes with a song, maybe loudly, but to notice the resonce wave... So try to match your voice so that the wave sounds even. Try humming to a vacuum cleaner for eg, you'll get what I mean. When the wave flattens, try going up or down an octave until you get the same result.

Sing a lot of songs. I learned to be able to hear notes and execute them by just singing my favorite songs. I’m not the best singer but I can sing any song on the right note from hearing it once.

I'm a karaoke DJ trying to sing to stimulate drunkish ppl to sing... It's easy after that point. But before that point, I need to be up there testing sound , mics speakers, getting the lightning ambience right etc... Whatever I'm doing at that point has to sound good ... And sometimes I don't. So I have a harmonic ear, and know what and when I hit those sweet sustained notes ( I'm a Wonderwall God , and can nail that harry nilsson 'everybodys talking about me' perfectly, but they are drony songs... I need more range). I can nail long sustained and quick octave changes .But yeah, my confidence lacks in scaling up from tenor to soprano. This NG and tounge exercises are actually helping. Thank you Soo much.... P.s. I'm practicing screaming in my front deck atm .. sorry nieghbours
