Gale : was just browsing and hit on a take by take version , and TRULY I think this was their first musical MASTERPIECE. It was the one that awoke the critics to "wait a second , this is not Pop or R&R this is VERY special critical complicated music ... with two-part vocal harmonies in fifths , McCartney just gives me shivers hitting that "AND ITS MY MIND ...... and there's NO TIME...... when I'm alone .... I remember my dad who was an amateur musician but had (still does) an amazing ear . telling me LISTEN , LISTEN CLOSE YOUR EYES AND LISTEN and suddenly music was no longer MUSIC to me . THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BEATLE SONG and I started listening to the Beatles since I was 6 years old in 1963. I'm FINALLY going to multi track this. As I am a lyric soprano, l'll have to sing much of John's part 8^. It will sound different, but I want to learn it solidly. I've already learned the main parts, but your tutorial is still ESSENTIAL, especially for the extra track harmonies. Thank you, SO MUCH, Galazzeo.

Thanks. My cousin and I used to spend hours listening to Beatles songs on a mono record player working to get the harmonies. I sang the high parts and he sang the low. People said we were pretty good. It is reminds me of happy times and happy music.

My All-Time Favorite Beatle song. I was 6 when it was released. Everyone in my family were Beatle fans. Thank goodness I had 3 older brothers who bought all the records. @jaaliaga1311

You give the music of the Beatles so much worth, (I mean they were really good, and not only beatlemania-victims) which it hasnt when it was first brought out. I remember my father telling me that Beatles-Music wasnt music, but only stupid noise (That was 1973), what I experience now is that I find other music "stupid noise" and maybe in another 30 years someone gives a lesson on how to enjoy:Lady Gaga - Do What U Want (Audio) ft. R. Kelly

I think on John's "..is a place", on "is" he sings an E flat not an E and then follows with F# and G#, which is slightly crazy. Gives it an E maj 7 sound.

Wow, you are amazing! Please keep up the good work. I never really appreciate how well they blend. I can usually figure out 2-3 harmonies. If there are only 2, I can add a third. But you have it pegged with all the double tracking, etc. Have you considered teaching the vocals/harmonies with other groups...Crosby Stills & Nash may be something you'd consider. Right now I'm attempting to master the middle part of "Helplessly Hoping"; I think I've almost got it. But 'please please me' with more Beatles. Thanks so much! Andie
