How to Size Rollerblade RB Cruiser 4/80 Skate SGV

Here is my sizing video of the Rollerblade RB Cruiser (RB80) Inline Skate Boot.
It's my hope - this video will help you size your skate purchase.
I'm not a pro skate sizer - it's my opinion as to sizing inline/quad skates.
My shoe (foot size) is a mens US 9.
My Sneaker size: 10 US Mens
My Rollerblade RB Cruiser is a size: US Mens 8
My Rollerblade Twister Edge is: US Men's 11
My Mondo is 27.5 cm
My foot width is 4.5" (inches) 11.43 cm

Hi !! I'm thinking in getting rb cruiser's for me but i am a little confused with so many contraditory info on the web, even in specialized webs. I wear a 46 Eu (290mm x 120mm), and if i go for the Rollerblade size chart i should get a 45.5. Wich size would you recommend? Thanks a lot

Hi Nuno: my advice don't get them: go with the Rollerblade Twister Edge 2022 model upgraded fit design. Since this video they are digging into right foot inner ankle bone and beginning to chafe my skin. I tried hot booting to make the plastic bubble around that hot area. There is not enough plastic to do this.(they do this method to snow ski boots for - hot points.) I have since purchased the Twister Edges 2022. Id say true to size. The same issue happened to my friend with the Cruisers - same area. Get the Twister Edges - spend the extra dough brother. Im telling-ya. Make sure 2022 models. Check Thuro Skate shop.

my foot measured 25.5cm x 10cm. I just ordered rb cruiser size 7 based on your input hopefully they fit good.

Hi David: Great! I checked the size chart and looks like you're right in-between: 7.0 25.0 39 7.5 25.5 40 that extra 5mm can make a difference unless you like a snug fit. I know they run a little big but not much. Keep me posted. 🤙

How did you go size 8? Even by RB chart you should be the upper limit of size 10. I'm 270x110 and was planning on buying size 10.

Hi Potato Troll: I had to go one size up to a mens US 9 because they were just too short in the length of the boot - my toes where cramped. After I went to a size 9 US Mens - they started digging into to my inner-right ankle bone. There is a fix that they do the ski boots called a heat punch and it bulges out the trouble area. Measure both of your feet for both Mondo size lengths. My mondo: My right foot is: 27.5 (275)mm Left foot is: 26.5 (265)mm and I actually am a size 8.5 US Mens. My left foot fits fine - even the width. >>> I would recommend upgrading to the 2022 Rollerblade Twister Edges - with a new sizing system. Pretty much true to size and how they created it is pretty sweet. The Edges are so comfortable - I have to say in my own opinion. You may want to spend a little more and get the boots. Check Thuro Skate shop - I know they sell the boots only and that's where I purchased mine. You may be a 9/9.5 US mens in the new twister 2022 Edges. @@chaindriven61 I already saw your other video. One thing that I found interesting on the Cruiser is that they have ventilation holes, don't you miss that on the Twister Edge? I'm from eastern Europe, so I can't check that shop.

@@chaindriven61 Wow, they are at the price of FR1, which from all the reviews seem like a better boot. I was initally looking at FR3, but then again - they have no ventialtion at all, which I'm not sure about. No, my internet is not blocked.

Thanks for the Video! Shocking to see you are rocking a much smaller size than I wanted to buy for myself, even though you have the bigger and wider feet! I checked the sizing graph offered by rollerblade and landed on a EU 43 (US 10). My measurements, hopefully correctly done, are: Lenght, depending on time of the day: ~268-275 mm Widht: ~100-105 mm I think I kind of have a high arch Which size would you choose with my measurements? Of course thats always hard to tell, just asking for an estimation :) Thank you!!

Florian apologies for the late reply. I have since switched to the Rollerblade Twister Edge 2022 model because they offer the new sizing redesign. they are pretty much true to size. I'm a 9.5 Mens US and my mondo is 275mm on the right foot and my left foot is 265. When I received them I put them on with my skate socks that I'll be wearing and stood in them for 15 minutes on carpet. They were tight but not painful. I hear they take about 15-30 hours of break in. The liners feel great! I'll make another video. Greg

I had to return my size 8 RB cruisers in women for a 9. I struggled getting past the middle of the skate. Hoping the 9 is just the right fit. I don't want them to be too loose at all.

Hi Jessica: are you a women's 9? I ask because I have since sold this setup in the video to my friend at the rink. He actually outskated his skates in record time and broke his stock frames that were Rollerblades for cardio. I have since ordered the Cruiser size 9 (which fit perfectly) I honestly feel for the money are a great value. If you notice in the video - those are Rollerblade Edge Frames not stock Cruiser frames. It's a terrific setup - what's shown. I noticed a quick liner break-in. >>you're right the 8's for me were tight and the center of my weight distribution was off - they worked but I'm a size 9 mens us and you will probably be right on the money with the size 9 women's - please keep us posted. I have brand new Fatboy liners that have sat because the Rollerblade liners are just great stock! Cheers!

husband choose size 14 for cruise and i choose 6.5 for RB 80 but we having size issue both. thinking to change to RB PRO X to both of us ,, i do not have wide feet but my arch is high ,just not comfortable with what i order..and husby said his cruise is little hurting oneside.. hard to sizing with rollerblades.

Victor: how long did you skate in them? I ask you because my feet hurt the first time skating on the RB's they hurt up until the liners broke in a while later and then they stopped hurting. I believe the RB Pros have an upgraded liner. Have you tried: 1/If you are wearing thick socks - try thinner socks. 2/Do you experience the same pain in the same areas skating on them another time? 3. High arch: have a look at this video. @@chaindriven61 appreciated your responses ! Well, we have not break in yet actually. Mine has no liner which mesh type. (Still so hard inside ). His cruise might need to break in . We are both beginner. Yeah but like you said maybe should break in first. Rei said that they accept used one if you did not satisfy with any gear from them :) Oh and if i wanna buy men’s one how can i pick the size? Thank you again for kind comment !

I think your Twister are too big for you perhaps? I upsized mine and had to sell them and buy my true size.

SaccoBelmonte: Yeah, I run Twister Edge 2022 model which they (Rollerblade) enhanced the sizing.
