have type 4 hair and was mad is hell when I let a stylist do my ponytail... she geled my hair back while it was wet.... She didn’t flat iron my or abything...... it was a mess, didn’t last and looked dry... now I know to flat iron my hair then use something like a wax or edge control for a sleek look
