I have a Sleep Number bed and I agree with that saying you mentioned, spend more on your bed and shoes because you are in them the most! Love this, diagnosed with adhd in my 30s as well :) one thing that's worked "as well as it can for a stimulated brain" is a sunrise lamp which I just set to orange at night (cheap ones on amazon )
