Long post please read if you have 30 seconds 🙏 Hey Friends! I wanted to let you know that I decided to combine my “How to Trim a Brisket” & “How to Smoke a Brisket” masterclasses into one video. I will call it “The COMPLETE Tutorial”. It is 2+ hours combined of some of, if not the most helpful and instructive content on smoking brisket in all of KZbin. Maybe even on the entire internet (for free that is haha). I know it’s a super long video but I’m a man of the people and I know when it’s just you and the stars out at 4am while you’re rolling brisket it can feel good to have a nice long format video to watch so I thought I’d combine these two videos into one. In other words, I’ll be in the trenches with you while you’re burning the midnight oil. Because I’ve already posted both of these videos separately you might feel inclined to click the video out of curiosity, then immediately click off once you realize you’ve already seen this content. And while that’s okay (I understand that 2 hours is a large commitment) just know that DESTROYS the performance of our videos. So my ask is this, if you find yourself on the video and know you don’t have 30 min+ to watch, would you just interact with the video before you leave? Maybe drop a like or a comment on your way out and show KZbin that you enjoy the video. That would mean a lot and help a ton! I want this video to be the gold standard and the better the video performs the more people we can help. Thanks for taking the time to read- love y’all 🤠👊

Two and a quarter hours is difficult to set aside to watch a video but I had the time today-I was amazed at the quality of the presentation and videography. The best training is lecture-led by a subject matter expert. You can’t come to my patio to coach me-this video is a great option to it. But, primarily, I was captivated by the material. Thank you two for talking the time to produce the video. I’m going to make a job aid for reference material for my next brisket cook which will be significantly different from previous ones.

I see a lot of comments saying, "Too much talking." I say BS, this man took us all on a cook with him and could make a rookie feel like a vet by the end. This was by far one of the most detailed how-to videos I've seen, and it was simply outstanding. Keep up the fantastic work, although I'm not sure you could make a better video than this.

Appreciate that big time bro!! I saw these comments roll in and thought “wait, so people actually prefer LESS information” 😂. My wife and I were like dang we could saved multiple days worth of shooting and weeks worth of editing 😂. But that’s not in my DNA so information is it! Cheers brother thanks for showing love

100% agree, this is better than the Aaron Franklin masterclass. I followed this video and put out a top notch brisket, I haven’t been able to get there until the things I learned here. 🙏

I want to see a side camera of all the fire management. All 12-15 hours of the cook. I think that’s what a newbies would like. Like we understand trim,rub slicing, But there’s no real temp dropping to adding a log to video. Even if it’s in fast forward. Just a thought for a video!! But for sure pickup more than a few tips.
@MeatNGreetBBQ13 күн бұрын

Thinking about placing a order for a snake river wagyu brisket after I watch this 3-4 times
@MeatNGreetBBQ7 күн бұрын
Honestly bro I’m a big believer in reps. I’ll take two Sam’s club choice/primes for the price of one SRF any day and squeeze and extra cook out of it in the process. But then again if you want to get after a srf wagyu that’s also a fun time haha
@MrBigdawgstatus096 күн бұрын
@ 💯✊🏾 solid advice especially with a family of 8
@MeatNGreetBBQ6 күн бұрын
Agreed bro! They will be just as happy with a solid prime. Not sure if you have a Sam’s near you but their prime is dang near the same price per pound as their choice so it makes the decision pretty easy.

Subscribed! If u could only eat 1, are u going for unwrapped or butcher paper?
@MeatNGreetBBQ7 күн бұрын
These days unwrapped then foil. 1. Cooks slighter faster 2. Deeper bark 3. Better chance at rendering fat if you messed up along the cook.
