I've always loved to swim and snorkeling is, to me, just like swimming underwater but you're wearing flippers, a snorkel and a mask. As I watch this video and see how you show how to snorkel, I would love to learn how to do that, as well because I LOVE swimming completely submerged underwater and with flippers, I don't have to use my arms. Plus, with a mask & snorkel, I can stay submerged underwater longer and open my eyes without worrying about getting water in them. I especially love how you dive down and swim around underwater 'cause it looks like a lot of fun! I also love your one-piece swimsuit and light blue flippers. Thanks for showing me how to snorkel and if I had a pool, I'd go out, buy a pair of flippers, a snorkel & mask and learn how to snorkel. Take care! Love ya!

Hey Katie! A very good tutorial. Well and clearly explained with nearly all needed informations about snorkeling. although Your video is not professionell filmed or edited like from a diving school it has its own charm and explain interested peoples the same. There are also no deepblue sea or stupid Blondie in bikini needed. At least a few inspirations: Jumping into water was not realy demonstrated in Your video, only explained and diving under you could also better demonstrated in deeper water (should be done in an angle of 90 degrees and not if You are alone, because of the shallow water blackout). Also a few more word's about the correct kick with fins and pressure compensation are neccessary I think. Maybe You can make a new video 2.0 sometimes in the future this would be great. PS: Indeed.. the fins are really old style but interessant: You still can buy this fins in various colours. Best wishes!

Male or female a womans one-piece long sleeve swimsuit (High cur or not) I prefer high cut, but is always preferred when snorkeling. Keeps from getting sunburned and the flexibility is easier too

Most snorkel mouth portion is shaped for the snorkel to be attached on the left side of the mask not the right as you have it

flacousa62 i have been snorkeling since I was 10 Padi certified for scuba since I was 15 and i have never had a snorkel that had to be worn on the left, yes when scuba diving it keeps it from interfering with your regulator hose but many people like myself wear it on the right when i am free diving.
