I have a small trailer with a ramp / gate an old walk behind mower that I mount a similar tank sprayer. I use 2 of the smaller clear (green) air compressor hoses (each is 50ft connected together=100ft) I unload my rig and move around the house making it easier to get in position. I have thought of removing the deck of the mower to make it look like that is what it’s made for. Also a sandwich sign that you can place in the driveway with your phone number and soft wash printed on it so neighbors can call you. Don’t forget that’s soap you are spraying on the roof. It’s slicker than owl shit! Don’t slide off the roof, don’t slip off the ladder. And don’t let your foot slip off the brake pedal when you hop on your truck. (I usually change shoes when I finish. Don’t overspray on neighbors cars or house windows. Pay attention to the wind. You can cost yourself a lot of work, money, and time if you go at it Willie Nillie. And most of all have fun! When you get up on the roof you can sell a gutter clean out if there are leaves /debris in it. (It’s easier to clean them before to get them wet. I really like the drone idea, but haven’t bought one for before and after. But. I w outdoor suggest taking photos or video of the roof and other things in case they accuse you of damaging their property. (Insurance is a good idea)

It's only the dawn with ammonia that you don't want to mix with bleach cause it will make mustard gas

Short answer is yes however before you spray down a roof you should always hose down the vegetation. Prior to applying the roof wash then After washing The roof you should hose off the plants and vegetation again with water

North star pumps sold at Northern Tools. But you can find same type units on Amazon. About $140 for pump, $70 for tank, $50 for hose and fittings, $200 for battery. Id also add $200 for a nice gorilla cart to pull it around. Everflo Delavan etc other companies also make same pumps just different manufacturers.

@@ryangermonto1536 measure the job. Roof hardware siding etc. Then have a sqft price. If you have 4000 sqft of hardscape maybe charge 25cents sqft. Or less. The higher up you go the higher your price. So a 4000 sqft driveway patio you'd charge around $1000. A 4000 sqft roof charge $1200. Also when you start out and you are working you need to be cheap because you're not as good as other people doing it. I would figure what you want to make for an honest days work and go from there

I can't speak for him on what he's wearing. I just recently got a pair of "cougar paws.".. Oh my gosh what a difference, I love them, instantly. I put my 24-ft ladder up against the gutter climb the ladder and a very steep pitch because I didn't have my 28 for ladder which would have been preferred but she's just really heavy. This roof was this a 7:12 pitch. . For the ignorant ones, who don't know what pitch is : It's the measurement of the slope and how steep the roof is. So a 6:12 pitch means that the roof Bruce slope races six feet in 6 ft in height over 12 ft in length over 12 ft sied 6' or the lenghyt over the length of 12 ft would give measuremet a 45°, pitch would be greater than 45°. So I'm already 25 ft up in the air with a crazy steep roof and of course the harness because I'm a dumbass I forgot at home. But long story short. Someone asked what kind of roofing shoes I have they're called cougar paws they cost me about a $180. Now I can do the River dance on someone's shingle roof that has out lived it past its age of usefulness....

So 38.4 oz 10% bleach + 89.6oz of water = 128 oz of 3% solution. Another one 3%÷12.5%= 0.24 0.24x128oz= 30.72 oz of 12.5% strength per gallon of the final solution 30.72oz of 12.5% SH + 97.28 of water = 1 gallon of 3% SH finally solution All you need to know is your desired strength, your initial strength and how much final solution you want to make.

Yes you should. It's so you use the bleach more carefully. The sudsing effect is what you are after. Only a little liquid dish detergent is used.

Ok say you have a 30 gal tank and you have two types of bleach 10% and 12.5%. ---10% bleach: If you want 3% bleach from a 10% starting mixture, we divide 3/10. 3 / 10 = 0.30 this means that our final mixture has to be 30% bleach. 30gal x .3 = 9 gals of bleach --12.5% bleach: If you want 3% bleach you have to divide 3% by 12.5% 3 / 12.5 = 0.24 this means 24 % of your total mix is bleach. Because we have a higher percentage, we need less to reach the strength we want. Keep the 0.24 in decimal form. Then multiply this decimal 0.24 by the total gallons. 30gal x 0.24 = 7.2 gal of bleach needed to make a 3% batch 👍🏼 Hope this helped… not the best at explaining things
