Are those bare copper wires connecting the chip? Won't they short out on something? Seems like you would want to use insulated wiring wouldn't you?

The wire I'm using has an enameled coating perventing any shorts 👍

hi, why you didn't use the flex wire you get with the kit instead of normal wires?

Using the wire helps me confirm that it's making a proper connection. And prevent accidentally using a faulty ribbon that can possibly have a damaged trace.

I hate to be that one guy but It was hard to sit through the video due to the crackling mic, I highly suggest a blue snowball or a yeti nano, if you move around a bunch try one of those lavalier mics (probably spelt that kind of mic wrong but its the ones where its attached to your person instead of stationary) but other than that solid video.

You definitely got a new subscriber from how detailed you got into things. I hope the switch lite modchip won’t cost too much or have a lot of intense labor. I want to repurpose my lite since it’s just collecting dust. Same goes for an older OLED.

Hello, i did all the soldering done. Tested all the values ok. When i try to plug a charger, led won't blink and console is dead. Any advice on this? Thanks very much

All point were 0.800+v and point B is 2.9v

@@HardwareRepairDepot i found the problem. It was the max77812 chip. I removed it and now it boots to No SD screen. It will be a pain ro replace tho, not sure if leaving it out is gonna be fine.
