Nice, I have been tinkering with these small gauge wires on LED signs and had the same issue. Large fingers, super thin gauge wire and trying to twist wires together for soldering. Awesome idea!

I rarely work with wire this small, but I've been using this trick to twist the wire passively (I've found it helps me slide the cut insulation off also) for a few years now, fortunately I don't need the solder steps because I'm pretty bad at soldering

That's a great idea. I'm struggling to learn how to solder for the first time and need to solder 22 to 20-gauge wires.

I do not know how to do this, until now. Perfect 👍 I am putting two LED light strips into my 2015 Mustang trunk. I will just use the metal body as ground but I need to connect to the existing 12 volt truck light positive
