For anyone else noticing that convert to raid doesn't work solo: take a good hard look at that list of buttons when you right click your frame, then realize there is literally a "reset all instances" button. Just press it, and it works. You do seem to need to be in a party first, though. You'll know it worked if you walk in and Ragnaros and majordomo staghelm start yelling

I don't know if this is just completely glitched now or what, but I do this perfectly on a demon hunter or warlock and never get the achievement. Click, close to first orb, right on the spinny ground thing, so the animation continues and the channeled line effect starts and goes, get to other one before next kneeling flame thing. Click on the second orb while standing very close and on the spinny thing. Channelled line thing goes and continues. Keeps going.. waiting.... finally a new flame cycle starts and achievement turns red again as failed. This is stupid. edit: finally got it. This is the buggiest thing ever tho. If it's not working for you, try to kneel after you hit the second one. Maybe that's why it eventually worked for me. Did it on the demon hunter. Make sure you are VERY close to the orbs. Standing on the spinning animations on the ground is where you want to be, not further out. Because you can click the orb and the orb won't do anything. You need to be very close for it to actually activate and do its animation.

YES! After like 30 attempts with DH i finally got it solo. I learned that you with the first orb you need to make sure that orb makes a movement. You do that by clicking as much times as you can on the first orb before you go to the other one. This achievemnt is bugged as hell so the click on the orb doesnt always register.

I just did this on a druid. You can use your dash, but you need to talent spec so you have the 200% movement speed. It took me a ton of tries to get this until I did that. A couple of suggestions, as the video stated, kneel, take a step, click the orb, (I spam clicked it because the orbs are very buggy), then I dashed to the next one, clicked it, and for good measure I knelt again. This seemed to have worked. Thanks for the guide

Hi, I just have done it on a hunter using only disengage with trailblazer talent :) Took me 6 tries. Apart from tipps mentioned here I would like to add - try to kneel AFTER clicking second orb. I think this is crucial if you are using a bit slower method (like disengage and/or aspect of cheetah) it takes a moment for orb to do its thing/achvement to pop up after you click it. And in that moment, i was usually hit by another flame wave thus failing. On the first try i implemented kneeling at the end, I succeded.

@@rahmansuryana9471 Pretty much used the same sort of positioning he used in this video during my attempt. Hard to explain exactly since this achievement is difficult to be done solo. Times when it looked like I made it ended in failure until I got it out of what felt like luck. Save yourself the trouble and get a buddy or ask a random for a few minutes of their time to help you duo it. It was a rough time doing it solo on my warrior and I dont think I could replicate what I did without failing a handful of time first.

Just did it yesterday on my warlock. You put the gate on top of 1 orb, and to get close enough to teleport, you use the Night Fae soulshape. It only took 3 attempts because I forgot to kneel once, and the second time I wasn't fast enough ^^

Ok guys, I'm just so thrilled to announce that I just SOLOed it with my paladin with the help of Door of Shadows! So I can confirm this is Soloable for a Paladin with Door of Shadows and Divine Steed. But I did failed dozens of times, and based on my observation, my previous failures were mainly due to the first orb I clicked didn't react properly, so that when I clicked the second, though in time, it just wouldn't trigger the achievement. This means if you want to do this as a pally, you have to make sure the first orb responded to your clicking properly. And in order to make this happen, you will have to wait for a little bit after you click the orb for that "channeling" animation to pop up and the orb's pattern starting to change, then just Door of Shadows+Divine Steed to the next orb and pray it will function properly as well when you click it. If the second one didn't function properly, just adjust you position next time to stay a little closer to this orb and you will get it. Hope you all success in solo'ing this.

I did it with my paladin without doors of shadows. I’m kyrian and just use my 6 second steed, I actually think just using the steed is the absolute easiest way to do it out of all the classes. Almost impossible to fail.

Great Video. Some tips for 9.1.5 and how to easily do this as Enhance (Probably other classes that needed Door of Shadows but have not tested them). Now that there's no way to get instant Door of Shadows, Soulshape is the better choice. 1.5s cast time on Door makes it useless now. For Enhance, you're going to want a couple of things. First is the Thunderous Paws conduit, secondly any +speed gear you can get your hands on and a pair of less than ilvl 50 boots with a 10% move speed enchant. Once you have these, get to the first orb. If you use Ghost Wolf to do so, make sure to wait for one minute at the first orb before you click them, as Thunderous Paws only triggers once per minute (and you really need the speed from that). When your Thunderous Paws is ready, click the first orb, then instantly go with this order. Soulshape, Spirit Walk, Ghost Wolf. Use Soulshape first as it will trigger the GCD and teleport you. Spirit Walk is usuable during GCD. Ghost Wolf should be almost up at this point, the boost from Thunderous Paws when you hit will easily get you over 200% MS and make this very easy as long as you click the first orb and go. It's the second orb that needs some channel time. As for resetting the orbs, you do not have to wait 30 minutes. As per other comments, just zone out, make a group in group finder under quests. Convert to raid, and then Reset the instance. Zone back in and the orbs will be back up again. Good luck!

Stand beside one sphere, wait for Staghelm's cast to resolve, get up and immediately cast Alter Time. Blink twice to the other mob and kneel again before the second cast resolves. Stand up after second cast, click sphere, click Alter Time, click 2nd sphere.

Hoping I can provide some help after some trial and error with many attempts as a feral druid soloing this with Soulshape and Tiger Dash. Since it seems like there are a lot of various ways this bugs out/gets glitchy, I'll focus on exactly what I did (Version 9.2.7.45745). Starting at right orb+left fire mark, kneel down (being shapeshifted didn't work for me for and not advised). Hold there until you feel absolutely ready and position your character in a way that you are facing the other orb. I needed to be on the edge of the fire mark as close as I could be to the orb while kneeling. As soon as Kneel to the Flame is cast, as your race form, click the orb and do NOT move right away; i.e. click the orb straight from kneel and let yourself cast for a little under a second, or about until your character finishes auto-standing for the cast before beginning move tactics.(differs from the video a bit.) I noticed you want to watch the caster rather than listen for the fire sound effect. You actually are safe to move a bit before the sound, which threw me off initially. Bonus I found was I actually could be 50/50 for catching if the orb glitched out and didn't channel properly with the proximity I was putting my character and having to wait to auto-stand, thus saving some time on certain resets that I prevented. With any luck, you see the orb activate as you hit your Soulshape. I went with Soulshape first as it was harder for me to get out of it to race form than say cat form to race form....So the cadence is Soulshape, (which will teleport you forward a ways), followed by Tiger Dash. Tiger Dash should get you to the left orb+right fire mark in time for you to be able to cast for about 2 seconds before Kneel to the Flame casts again. I made sure to switch BACK to race form once getting to the fire mark and immediately STOP moving and start channeling. After you establish the channel for 1-2 seconds (however long you can give it before the cast), I was able to KNEEL AGAIN. The channel gave me some grace ticks while I went down to kneel that 1) got the orb to it's full channel needed and 2) prevented me from getting hit with the last second Kneel to the Flame cast that had failed me many times at this step (moral of the story/step here is the kneel at the end somehow was the final part I had been missing to get this to work). It is a VERY close window and one that I believe full-heartedly had a dose of luck and many practice attempts required to get it down. I really hope for all my fellow ferals that this isn't the case and I have somehow helped even 1 other person because I watched this video at least 4 times pouring over what information I must be missing and an embarrassing number of stubborn hours wanting to get this to work solo. Maybe some of this information can be used as a supplemental guide for other classes without a confirmed soloable strat, who knows. Sorry for the length, but I thought I would be thorough if I could be while it is still fresh in my mind. Thank you for this video and all the people before me that got bits and pieces of this information out there so that I was able to put it all together! This post is purely meant to be helpful and if it doesn't work for you, I do feel for you and wish it was an exact science. Best of luck to everyone. TL;DR - Was able to confirm Soulshape+Tiger Dash for Feral Druids with Night Fae covenant. Details above also include some modifications to try differing from the video.

I think it will help people to know you don't have to click the orbs while standing directly on the swirly fires on the ground, in the vid you are closer than you need to be. You can be standing a good distance away from the orb before clicking. Heroic Leap directly toward the other orb and spam interact. Otherwise followed all the rest of the tips for the two classes in the vid.

Did it on my balance goblin shaman. Do not recommend unless you want to try a few times and stress yourself out. Had to stay at the orb, ghost wolf and as soon I clicked the first one you hit spirit walk followed by rocket jump. The gap is small though, alot of trial and error. Also if you turn your group into raid mode or whatever its called, you can reset and it will reset the orbs, gave me a chance to try it out more often.

It appears that I am clearly making it to the 2nd orb in plenty of time. I click it, it booms and shakes a little. Not sure if I'm too late to this, but thought I'd share anyway. Managed to solo as a Fury Warrior using bounding strikes, first try. I positioned myself at the veery edge of the orb, with just enough distance to click on it. It's a lot further than you might think. Waited for the cast to finish, unknelt, clicked orb, leapt, and clicked other orb ASAP. Takes a few seconds for the achievement to pop so don't panic. Cheers for the guide!

Got it on the 7th attempt, pretty frustrating to get. I made the mistake I was too far away from the first orb so it didn't actually register. Stood inside the little circular flaming icon on the ground next to the orb for my 7th try. Clicked it, Meta followed by Fel Rush and quickly clicked the second orb and got it. Now time for attempt 36 for the Pureblood Fire Hawk

this is just a theory but i think a rouge with shadowstepping a guardian (like condensed life force essence major) or a banner should be able to do this i want to try it but i really do not want to do firelands just to try this as i have the achievements and the mounts

I've been trying to do this on my two demon hunters all morning since I saw this video. I can get to the orb and click it and metamorph over to the next orb and click it before the druids cast is over, but it won't give me the achievement. I saw another video mention the swirls right in front of the orbs, are those important?

So I thought the swirls were important at first but in one of my attempts that wasn't in the video I wasn't in the swirls and the orb still (properly) disappeared HOWEVER maybe I was still technically close enough to a swirl. Point being I'm not 100% sure. Try again while being in the swirls cause I'd love to know!!!

@@Rustycobra I actually have seen another vid where the guy wasn't even in the swirls and still got credit so maybe that's not as important as it seems. Im still having no luck and it sucks having to soft reset but I'll keep trying. Thanks for the vid about this!

@@blacksunshine9995 Yah it took me 6 tries on my DH and 3 on my monk before I got it so its a very finicky achievement to solo so if u can 2 man it I def recommend that way. Glad you liked the video!

Finally completed this once I slowed down. I think I was going too fast and not activating the first orb. Once I actually saw the fire channel I began to move to the 2nd orb and instantly got it.

I just tried it as Vengeance, didn't really work for me. If I wasn't moron I would do it with my DK that has Ventyr as covenant. But hey, I was rushing through to Sargeras to get that fuckin' mount.

Is this possible on a Fury Warrior? I've been trying to do this with Heroic Leap but even if I click both flames within the same Kneel to the flame cast, it doesn't unlock

With bounding stride people have been able to do it. Its a very finicky achievement to solo and will sometimes just not work is what I've noticed while testing this. Can either keep trying or 2 man it which is what I personally recommend to you do

Do you need to be kneeling when you click the orb? I have 2 man-d this and clicking the orbs keeps bugging. Not sure what we are doing wrong?

No you actually want to be standing up when you click as sometimes when you're kneeling it can screw with the orb

Its really just the achievement being finicky as that happened on my DH a few times until it didn't and I got the achieve. So far the only thing I can recommend is either keep trying or 2 man it

Glad you think so! I did try it on a warrior with bounding stride but no success BUT maybe with the speed potion it might work. Also maybe leap Venthyr door of shadows in SL?

I was able to do it with the leaper legendary for warriors which gives you an additional 2 charges of heroic leap! Fun fact: If you have the leaper legendary and the PVP talent 'Barbarian' you can have up to 6 CHARGES of Heroic leap in BG's and War-Mode! Amazing for Warsong Gulch, Eye of the Storm and Twin Peaks. In Eye of the Storm I was able to capture a flag in less than 10 seconds with it. Overall, you'll be travelling with over 200 yards + the distance with bounding stride... I recommend it.

You're welcome! Again I think hunter disengage with aspect of the cheetah would be to slow right now but maybe with Venthyr door of shadow in SL it might be possible
