Could just be the volume or capture card unless you're not using night mode, it's the play for hearing footsteps and farther sounds

You just gotta treat all matches and opponents the same pretty much, I know it's easier said than done but don't play a whole different game just because you're playing bad players or good players, if you get the right habits down it'll work against anyone when done right
