You do what a lot of other professors don’t do: -You make it simple to understand. -You explain the “why.” -You break it down step-by-step. -You color-coordinate. -You’re not puffed up with knowledge thinking you’re superior to other people because of it. -You genuinely want to help people instead of just getting money for teaching others. Bravo, bravo. Now to donate to you. :) :) :) God bless you so immensely! :D You’re a gift.

Oh and another thing! You don’t write in messy cursive which makes things hard to understand! You even use *simple* fonts (as to not intimidate amateurs) and make the font big and clear and it’s just wonderful! :)

alot of teachers do not teach. it is just a job they go to. most teachers you can tell specially nowadays that they just going through the material so they can say they are ahead of schedule or what not.
@boxingforlife87703 жыл бұрын
True but think about it. Teachers handle 30-40 students in one lesson, each student may put their hands up and ask questions. Making a Video is straight forward, it gives the person time to think and for us we can just rewind back and just study threw it. Try and watch the video in one go you’ll be confused as you’ll be in class. But yeah I do indeed agree this man does a lot for us in order for us to understand in a basic way and not to complex 🙌🏽

I must say that you're making great videos! However, I'd like to see the reasoning upon the formula q_tot(c_1/(c_1+c_2))=q_1, because at the university I study at, there has to be derivations for every formula used. I can only say that you're better than the 6 Universty professors I've had so far!!!!
@kontiimanalatit89874 жыл бұрын
it is the same concept used for resistors in series with voltage dividers if i recall correctly. (since capacitor in parallel acts like a resistor in series. the formula derivations are a combination of ohm's law equations.) I'm not 100% sure, as it's been a while since i've dealt with them.

Is the series and parallel calculation different than calculating them with resistors? With resistors, calculating circuits in pararle is 1/Resistance + 1/resistance... etc and in series it’s just adding the resistances Rtotal = R1 + R2 etc Here it sounds like it’s backwards but I want to be sure cause I’m confused...

Well done. I agree with the comments below that simple is better. Unfortunately I've found that, in my many years on this rock, most college teachers are more concerned with attempting to make themselves look and sound smarter than they really are. Unfortunate really..., but technical understanding doesn't seem to break down, and across, their human ego. Actually, unfortunate is not strong enough...lets go with pathetic. Regardless, your presentation is first rate teaching!

why does capacitor 1 take a 30,000 charge? in the min 25:09
@benflis16185 жыл бұрын
Capacitor 1 takes 30,000 micro Coulombs because when the capacitors are simplified into a single capacitor, the equivalent capacitance is 75 micro Farads. Use that value with the voltage of 400 volts in the equation C=Q/V in order to get 30,000 micro Coulombs. Since charge is constant in series, and capacitor 1 is in series, it must also have a charge of 30,000 micro Coulombs.
