How to solve black screen on Poco M3

I was devastated that my Poco M3 didn't turn on after a firmware update. This seems to be a very common issue. With this method you don't need to disassemble your mobile nor buy additional software. And do not update the firmware after a successful recovery or it will happen again (I tried).

More tips: Don't use official charger or any usb device that transmits data or you go back to qdl mode. Use a USB power supplies that don't send any data.

The battery self-discharges. It looses up to 10% power per day. It will probably take around 2 weeks to get a 90% charged phone down to 0.

follow the steps in the video. you need to drain the battery. DISABLE UPDATES when the phone comes back to life. This fix didn't work on the 2nd time for me...

What worked for me was I drained the battery Then charged When the battery sign shows I press the up button and power button together for 10secs and leave then repeat I do this like 5 times Then I leave the phone It turns on by itself

DO NOT update firmware!!! You can turn off automatic updates following this instruction: 1. tap on settings. 2. tap on about phone. 3. tap on MIUI version. 4. open the Menu. 5. tap on Update settings. 6. disable Install automatically.
