Sir in Q 17 you made a mistake. It says in flask 2 that only measure gas after 30 seconds and not any time after that while we should measure for at least 5 minutes like in case 1 and 3

When base reacts with ammonium salt it will releases ammonia gas, co2 is released when acid is added only acid+metal carbonate= salt- co2 + h20

In my opinion, apparatus 3 is not suitable to measure the gas precisely.

@@kacsoac but B is also not right because it does not mention time intervals to measure volume of gas. measuring gas after 30 sec only will not give us rate of reaction. in my opinion C makes sense, we can measure bubbles as their amount will differ with time , it will just not be precise. taking these explanations into consideration,C is the right answer as the marking scheme suggests.

@hallawallah5112 non of the options have been mentioned with time interval. In apparatus 3, it's difficult or less precise to measure the number of bubbles with specific time.
