what if we end up with 0 0 0 | 0 type equation? my calculator gives "Ma error" but it should be mathematically working( give z in term of y and x)

you must have 3 eqs or you cant find the unknowns.. that's the mathematical principle. You have to have the same or more amount of equations as you have unknowns. See if you can't produce another relations between your unknowns that gives you a third equation
