I must say that after 3 years on KDP it is not what I expected when I started (and got some success). Successful books fade away for whatever reason, launches that seemed promising fail, reviews are not what you've expected. Not to discourage anyone, but it's not an easy business even though Amazon does a lot of technical and logistical stuff for the publishers.

it has been a week now since I started Kdp however I couldn't find a niche whenever I research on Amazon I find either saturated niches or the researched niche keywords has nothing to do with the books in the results I mean that these found books on the first page are running in different theme.. I am depressed since I can't afford paid tools it's such a hard stuff.

The modules in the software laid out logically to help with the structure -- but if you have literally zero clue, you'll benefit from doing some google research - and we will cover this in the workshop to help people get passed that barrier too :)

Hey man, so of course this number of 1 in 5 will vary and success levels per book will vary too. Since you're in the same niche as me I think I can help you out with some actual stats. Around 10 books - 1 sells extremely well - 1 is on track to sell very well 300+ per month - 1 is dead -1 is dead -1 started well then died -1 is good at 150 sales month -1 fluctuates each month but overall in profit If that makes sense? It's not set in stone and my success rate might be above average but hopefully it gives you an idea

The problem here is this f reviews.. I’m on KDP more than one year now, I have published 12 books( i am going slowly ) yeah I was thinking to quit seeing that I have paid a lot money to ADS and yeah I sold some books but never ever I get a fking review never man! It’s like they are like rare diamonds, or caviar that I never eat..not for everyone, very prestigious stuff.. I can’t have them man !!! And this is so frustrating because I need to pay ADS an eternity.. but yeah I will not quit at the moment.. so succes to everyone out there ❤

Absolutely correct. Fake reviews are a massive problem. Really massive! Bad books are getting lots of fake 5 star reviews on day one of publication. Good books without reviews cannot get a look in. I have been publishing on KDP (with much success) since2014 and have seen this problem increasing exponentially in the last 2-3 years. I know that some of the books that I am publishing now are much better quality than the ones I published in 2014-2018, but it is much more difficult now to get the sales. I think you need to be much more strategic when you launch a book. You need to have an extremely good cover, extremely good A+ content, and an ad campaign right from the start. Even then it might not work.
