I’d love to see a Negativist preset pack for Current! They probably would take you as a sound designer in a heartbeat

Great! I'm sure you can get just as good results with Vital. The magic is in the post-processing and modulation anyway. :)

Hello! Boom Library support recommended your YT channel to me when it comes to sound design. In the SFX sample pack (Boom Library MECHANICALS) there is a construction kit from whose sounds a designed kit was created. Do you know how the sounds were created in such a bassy, cinematic way? Can you recommend videos from your YT channel that come closest to this type of sound and its creation from the pack?

Hi! Sorry for the late reply; glad you found your way to my channel. :) I don't really have specific tutorials for the sounds you are looking for on my channel at the moment, but I think I might be able to create one with a few of those techniques. The main techniques for this are typically: - Layering different samples to create a full frequency spectrum and an overall more complex sound - Layering regular and lower pitched versions of a sample to create a more low-end heavy sound - Enhancing the low-end with plugins such as R-Bass by Waves or LowEnder (there are a various sub enhancement plugins on the market) - Enhancing the transients for more punch with transient shapers - Enhancing the transients by layering other transient sounds (f.e. kick drums) or using something like the Enforcer plugin - Pushing the overall sound with compression and distortion/ saturation and EQ - Using various different source sounds in a sampler to be able to essentially play them with a keyboard, thus being able to quickly create a lot of new different and heavily layered versions This video by Boom Library might give you a small insight into how many layers of different sounds there can be: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGG0pJubmd-Ijrc I'm using a few of the techniques I mentioned above in some of my videos, for example (however, for different sounds than what you are looking for and not in such an extreme manner): kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmPFnKGgo5V0osk kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z3aqmKuPjZ2EndU I hope this helps a bit; and I will see if I can make a tutorial that kind of goes a bit more in this direction! :)
