*Correction: "Jardin" of course is "garden" in English. No idea why I said window. I guess I was somewhere else with my mind, probably looking through the window in that moment. ;)

Je suis canadien, est ma langue maternelle est anglaise. Mais il y a 6 mois quand j'ai regardé vos vidéos. J'étais inspiré, et j'ai étudié depuis ce temps. Aujourd'hui j'ai fini un cours de français. Avant, je n'ai pu pas parler un mot en français, et maintenant la semaine passée j'ai fait un entrevue en français ❤️ ils m'ont rappelé pour une autre entrée! Je pense que les langues sont cadeaux du monde.

This whole video topic is something that never crossed my mind, I’m so used to speak french, due to the fact that I‘m Congolese, that I never realized how much pronunciation can make a different. It’s just a natural thing to me to say plat and plan differently, so I find your video really informative and interesting to watch. 😳👏🏾

My husband is French. I'm learning French right now. We have had these discussions about the different vowels. I just couldn't tell the difference at times. He's utterly amazed at how instructors try to teach the French language to non-French speakers. More than once he's said 'they just told me how to say things'. I WILL play him this video. He will smile.

I love your ur videos! I am English and speak French (as we are taught it and of course how my teacher spoke it!) and love hearing different pronunciations of the French language. Of course there are so many French accents/dialects, but also other nationalities speaking each of these dialects/accents. I found myself speaking out loud as you went along, and heard my own pronunciation slightly differ to yours! Luckily, or not, my mari is French and I am subjected to it a lot. Of course just his regional dialect! Love your channel, such a smart woman and so passionate! Can I ask where you are from?

@@bubblingwater8481 Cette personne écrit très mal. Bien plus mal que certaines personnes non natives de France. Je trouve ceci très grave, et triste. Si je m'exprimais de la même façon en anglais, ce serait une honte pour mon pays. Apparemment, nos professeurs sont meilleurs que les vôtres.

thank you eve! this is an excellent video, très utile. you explain and demonstrate very well. i imagine you likely don't want to make another vowel pronunciation video already but if you ever feel inclined, it would be wonderful to hear you compare: vu / vous (or tu / tout) after many years of studying french, i still feel like i don't succeed at the slight difference in pronunciation for these. to be honest, for a time, i thought they were homonyms (which i now realize is quite incorrect). it's a really difficult subtlety of pronunciation to nail!

Good job! As a native French speaker I can say that the way you pronounce "Onze" is the good one when you say "it's not onze". Actually, it's not a long sound. And for the 2nd vowel, we say it exactly the same way as the first one. The sound is the same in "Pain" or "Parfum". But I wish I could speak englisk as well as you speak french!

I think the nasal sounds are more easy depending on your mother’s language. I know we don’t have the sameeee sounds in portuguese, but we have a lot of nasals sounds too, so I think at least this part is easy. I mean, Brazilians for example sound very Brazilian ( it’s kind rare you hear foreign ppl sounds very Brazilian too.) ( for me some nasal sounds in french “sounds like” someone wanna vomit 😂😂😂 sorry french speakers, I love your language but sometimes I’m just to embarrassed to make it right 😂)
