so are snare bombs something the sound engineer will do manually, or is it usually a tracked effect. I noticed when I saw alpha wolf that every band had the same snare bomb effect, maybe they had a trigger on the drum kit or something?
@joel_adamsFOHsound2 ай бұрын
For me it's always something I do manually/most audio people will. There's sometimes song specific "must have" moments that will be on tracks but for TH there isn't much of that for Snare fx.

What is the fx you are using for the snare bomb..

@@michaeltjin679 Its not his answer, but personally I like the m32s hall verb with the decay cranked to oblivion for bombs

Hey man How did you create that snare bomb. Can you walk me tithe process?
@joel_adamsFOHsound5 күн бұрын
It's a large reverb effect with both snare top and bottom mics sent to it. I unmute the send whenever I want to hear the effect. Hope that helps!

So for this are you just taking there AES lines and plugging them into your console? How do you end up knowing where your drive lines are and how the sub is situated (matrix or mono bus) , Does the venue have an AV sheet sent previously with drive line and matrix routing information so you can prepare your outs?
@joel_adamsFOHsound2 ай бұрын
We do a full analogue split. This allows me to send Drive lines from stage or FOH (Foh preferred) . Always running Left, Right, Sub, Fill on matrixes and any extra Outputs I deal with on the day.
