I nearly sliced off a finger by whacking a knife blade into an avocado seed while holding the avocado in my hand. PLEASE keep flesh ABOVE moving knife blades whether you are whacking or slicing!!!! My hand surgeon said avocados are responsible for much of his work.

Comment from the United States January 16th 2023 excellent video but my dear you are showing people the wrong way to cut an avocado because you could cut your hand the way you're doing this and this shows you're not an experienced cook. No person in the right mind is going to hold an avocado in their hand and slice it with a huge knife that you're using. Your information is good but my God put the avocado on a flat surface and hold it on the side and cut it with the knife the way everybody else does. This is a very very dangerous procedure that I'm shocked you're not aware of you need to change how you're doing this because you are going to not going to prevent people from cutting themselves with such a large knife you need to change what you're doing on this video
