My favorite part of the Fera/Garou interactions are the Gurahl. The Gurahl are just done with the Garou. They just want to do their job and be left alone, so when Garou show up the Gurahl are of two minds. Kill it (Which they probably can, Gurahl are surprisingly dangerous even though they're loners) or make it go away. And are not below using the Aversion Therapy gift to make a Garou deathly afraid of it's own tail, thus sending the big idiot howling into the bushes until it gets far enough away for the gift's effects to break... Also they find that shit HILARIOUS... rightfully so.

I've always been surprised that the other Fera even talk to the wolves after all the spectacular FUBARS they've done. Even more interesting is that the region of asia has its own entire different cosmology complete with the court of the emerald mother and the little gods.

@@Razamaniac A mummy. The Sefekhi, or 'unbandaged ones' are the Amenti's warrior caste. Immortal, nigh unkillable ancient egyptians able to shrug off damage that even Garou would have issues with. But only in short bursts. Young Amenti are not nearly as durable as their elder brothers. But a high xp Sefekhi is more or less the closest thing WoD has to Godzilla. 300 xp later this same character was shrugging off sniper rifle rounds and entire magazines from SMGs... and then getting mad cause the bad guys 'put holes in his favorite tshirt'... But it was a good tshirt...

That is because the Metis are a real people group in the real world who are a mix of European Settlers and Native peoples in French Canada. The metis in game were all inbreeds with mental and physical deformities. You can clearly see why a French-Canadian Company would not want to draw any negative connections to French Canadian ethnic group.

The pronunciation of the Garou-born breed is Met-iss, saying May-tee refers to a real lif group of Indigenous people in Canada. There’s actually a sidebar in at least one werewolf books pointing out that they’re different things, and it’s kinda iffy to pronounce the “deformed” breed of werewolves the same way as the name of a real life ethnic group.
