SUCH a helpful video and thank your for explaining the frame rates so well!! I especially love the way Premiere key frames the speed ramping with smoothing out the key frames with ramps. Awesome content overall!

@@JustinOdisho Sorry I don't understand...Which frame rate should I shoot at if I want to slow down the video and make it look slow motion, cause the girl's video was at 24 fps and the other one was at 60 fps? And what type of timeline would I put that video on, 60 fps, 30 fps? Thank You
@TheAk4r3 жыл бұрын
@@amitmadan496 You need a high FPS clip if you want to add slow motion to it, because you basically slow the clip down, therefore showing each frame more. So a 60 fps clip would be more suiting if you want to add slow motion to it.

Thanks bro. I will 100% be using this exact technique in my next video, actually just got the audio done today, if you wanna see what i'll be making.. Just fun to consider influences that people have... you've got the secret sauce that I need for this one camera trick I picked up from the Camera Transition Masterclass here on youtube, in terms of like swiping the camera and then jump-cutting that to some footage where you move the camera into the frame in the same direction you swiped the camera, so it has the illusion... I also want to make the ground shake, and being able to not only rewind time, but also slow it down like this.... damn, thank you so much for sharing these movie-magic secrets!!!! Priceless dude! you saved me a college degree lolololololl brilliant. thank you for making these tools of creation more accessable to dunces like myself, I wouldn't be able to do what I do, if you didn't do what you do, so nameste, ubuntu, all that jazz. cheers, love from london, and uh. yeah. Big ups and respect, brother thank you for putting this work together for the online community, it means the world to me and is concise enough that literally within 5 minutes, I can do slow mo ramping roflmao.... I had no idea what to click. thanks.....Now, to figure out how Snak the Ripper does that zoom-in effect on that track "trust the process".......... I wonder if he did it using the "limitless movie zoom" technique where you zoom into a square that has the next scene on it, then zoom that out into the next picture. idk. anyways. thank youuuuuu

Is it best to Interpret Higher Frame Rate Footage to Lower Frame Rate Sequence or to leave the Higher Frame Rate alone and adjust the Clip Speed / Duration for smoother output?
@LindseyDara3 жыл бұрын
I always film in say 60fps and interpret to 23.976 so it becomes slow motion on my timeline, and it appears that is what he has done here, then you can go back in and speed up in certain areas, so yes I would interpret before adding any speed ramps 👍🏼 the out put will be smooth like that
@tonynicolaci32443 жыл бұрын
@@LindseyDara Thats what ive been doing as well, but being in Australia and using Pal for video format standard I film at 50fps and interpret to 25. Thanks for reply.

Thanks, how to speed ramp and keeping the audio back in sync after the end of speed ramp?
@MikeHunt-qu6ef2 жыл бұрын
You want to know the easiest way to do a speed ramp, just cut the clip change the speed to whatever you want to slow it down to, then go to where you wanna stop it cut it again make it back 100 percent at the end. If you need to keep the audio, easy lock the video clips, go to the audio underneath drag the ending audio or beginning to the slow motioned part then delete the audio that’s slowed from the Slomo clip.
