Man, I cannot get this down lol. I’m a C2 on PC, got the musty speedflip tutorial, got the Bakkesmod speedflip plugin, and I just can’t do it. It seems I’m timing the boost and first jump right, and I found out you have to flip cancel like, IMMEDIATELY, but for the life of me I just can’t get that perfect 15° left stick position. Anyone figure this mech out after hours of trying?

​​@@GoosePlays20I would stick with the built in training packs and learn how to control your car and the ball better, I haven't seen you play though, but my take is that alone will get you out of silver, once you get higher into silver and get into gold id start working on game sense, this is the point where could get coaching, if youre not able to at that time pick either offensive/defensive mechanics to be an active role or a passive role, thall get you prolly to diamond.

I think my problem when i would practice is like position and timing. Now that I know where to aim my car when side flipping Is gonna make practicing so much easier. I'm still learning wavedashes and half flips so I'm still working on those but I think the speed flip has been the hardest to learn for me. But this is definitely gonna help me with knowing where to actually flip.

Just for all the people who came to look for answers that struggle with said wavedashes and halfflips, a halfflip is basically a backwards flip cancel using airroll to turn and a wavedash is jumping boosting while facing down slightly and turning the nose of ur car back up into a frontflip

It's the same. If you do it in speed flip training you'll hit the ball every time if you do it right

air roll only comes in play for after the speedflip! you can use joystick airoll (free air roll) or directional. It's only used for the recovery aspect. Refer to Virge's speedflip video to see how to do both and a couple of tips for both.

Spooke, there’s an easier way to speedflip, just have directional air roll binded to L3 and flip cancel forward while holding directional air roll

A lot less complicated if you use Left or Right air roll bind. Hold up on the stick, and hold air roll bind (mine is square for R air roll). Then do a front flip and cancel it immediately while still holding air roll. Boom, speed flip.

It's still a good video but there's always the same missing element, we don't know when to time the first jump. When the joystick is on the right position for the dodge, or just after going back to the middle.

I'd been trying to learn speedflips for a while and couldn't beat the Musty trainer, but then I found this video and installed Bakkesmod and the plugin to see what I was doing wrong. Now that I've tried it with the plugin, I've gotten it a few times but either the plugin is glitching or my flip cancels are consistently too slow, and I've gotta be honest, if I truly need to slam my stick in less than a tenth of a second for like, two inches of extra distance on my kickoff, this tech just does not seem worth the headache and carpal tunnel its been giving me, especially when fucking it up even slightly causes your car to careen wildly some random uncontrollable direction.
