Hey John, love the content. I’d look at Always board never boring, they recently got in touch with someone in the UK that helped them get a review copy of the HeroQuest Monk (according to their most recent video). I hope this helps!

Really love the detail on these pieces and the paintwork really brings them out. Best of luck for the 100k this year.

Great stuff. Just bought the game with my son. And we will use all your vids when we paint our pcs. Keep up the good work.

Nice job - touching up the dines at the sides of the doorframes with some green was worth it for me, though! Then again, my kids are a real grateful pair: each time I've painted some of the pieces, they talk about it during the whole game :)

Looks good! Can't wait to play the game. One thing I noticed for next time is with some of the furniture pieces you can probably switch to a larger brush to cover a wider area quicker.

Awesome job! Very enjoyable video. Subscribed! The figures that I used to use (when using figures and not paper portraits) rarely had other than a plain base, but I still completely agree about clear bases. One of the things that use to mess with the immersiveness was having one ground on the figures and a completely different one on the actual board.

Another great painting video. I have recently purchased heroes quest as well to play with my son. We are going to start painting all these items as well and your videos have been great to watch . Would like to see how and what home brew games you have come up with in a video . Keep up the great content.

With the advent of cheap resin 3d printing game makers can easily mass produce something that used to take massive and expensive injection molding machines.

Love your work. Since you say you play with these minis, are you using any varnish? Can you please share which one and how you apply it to the speedpaints 2.0?

Have you tried using a flesh shade on your gold? Maybe also use purple shade on gold for a chaos effect on gold.

I played the original release of Heroquest back in the early 90's and the included furniture was just cheap cardboard that inserted into a plastic base with some molded pieces. Even the doors were 1 dimensional cardboard cutouts stuck into slot bases. I didn't back the Kickstarter reboot when it launched but was thrilled when they decided to sell them online and in retail shops. Even the old minis were... not that great. They're spoiling us! I too went hard in on this and have been buying up all the expansions etc... I play solo with the mobile app that plays as the DM because getting my 50 year old friends together for gaming, when we all live hours away from each other, is saved for dinner and catching up a few times a year.

How did you do the portraits? I assume pinted off on an inkjet? Ah should have waited untill the end. Ignore.

Why do they never send enough doors or stuff to show the dooor is blocked / shut? Community of people that love watching pint dry! Got a cousin that is into the hobby, but a little freaked out by painting, so you and that inspired agreat gift for him. I know you don't want to waste paint, but with the ones you don't like, could you show use what happens when additives are used (thinner, thickener, glosses, sparkles, etc). Any news for null oil?

Gold Hinges is great but not realistic on a normal Door, I would pant it black with light silver do scratches and then use rust effects.

In the end, you'll save money and use less paint by buying a heavy body artist quality titanium white
