Q: Can I just use the Custom SMG instead of the TMP/Deagle? A: I guess. Thing is, the Custom SMG is in a different slot on the inventory wheel. It's to the right of the fiber wire, so that's an extra slot you need to go over when you need to take out the mine. Not that big of a deal, but you also can't drop the custom smg on the stairs, unlike tmp/deagle. The reason why this matters is because when you take the detonator out, it's normally one slot to the right of the fiber wire, so one mouse scroll down. But, if you shoot with the custom smg, it moves to a different slot when equipped, making it more inputs to get to the detonator. Slower, takes more muscle memory and knowledge, and make it more likely to make a mistake. Best to just take a standard firearm. Q: Why don't you just go down the mountain? A: Getting down the mountain path requires more setup, and isn't feasible for Pro/SA at this speed. Q: Is there any way to speed up the elevator? A: A mine explosion can cause the Hanger guard to take the elevator sooner, but again, we don't have a second mine at this point. Q: Can't you just wait until the end to detonate? A: Again, not at this point. We don't have the enhanced detonator unlocked, so we get out of range early into the elevator ride. Q: Can I just plant the mine on the wall below Don? A: No. The guards will think the explosion came from the 2nd floor, thus discovering the body. Q: Do I have to use the fiber wire on Manuel? A: No. You can also use the poison syringe. I've even some people shoot him with a Deagle. Q: Manuel has a faster pattern where I can snap his neck earlier. Does that matter? A: No. No matter how fast you do everything, you still have to wait for the elevator to arrive.

Iam playing this game in ipad , I have done all the missions with PRO/SA ratings , Iam tryna speedrun the whole game in my iPad looking forward for rest of the series . Great video man ❤

Very interesting. I personally despise speedruns, they're like the opposite of what I love i Hitman games, but for educational purposes - very nice 🤣

in my runs, im doing everything as shown in the video, im getting in the elevator around 45 seconds, but every time i use the mine, the body is found within 10 seconds and i can never make it to the end of the level before they find him.. im waiting abt 3 seconds on the elevator every time and using the tmp towards the end of the stairs since i think that might help slow them down? idk, but they keep finding his body and i cant get SA

You don't need to use fiber wire, you can buy a silverballer with a silencer and kill him easily and quickly

the guard nearby usually hears your gunshot since the first silencer upgrade & the ammo type are not the greatest. fiber wire is consistent.

I cut it out of the video, but you can use the Desert Eagle too. Just be sure once you shoot Manuel to put it away quickly. The guards will fire at you, but if you do it right, you will keep SA
