Hat Films gaming videos are like a comforting nostalgic hug. It really does feel like hanging out with friends. I enjoy this game but the boiks in any game is an enjoyable time!

They are getting better for sure, but Trotts focused on objectives, Alex is focused on player combat despite crippling dog-vision and Ross is almost oblivious to both choosing to duke it out with mobs in the middle of gunfights. My only notes would be to work on positioning and fighting as one. their callouts are already great.

Idk if you boys read the comments here, I'll offer a few tips from a 1000+ hour Hunt player regardless. A full size rifle will kill a fire boy with 4 fully charged rifle butts to the head. Easiest way to deal with fire boys imo but some of the best players prefer the knuckle knife. If you bring a bayonet bring knuckles. I bring standard knife because it kills dogs with one body shot. You could just run knuckle dusters as there isn't a huge downside to them and they deal with every AI pretty well, the biggest downside is that it makes dogs harder to kill which are the most dangerous AI in the game. A quick note on penetration in this game, assume you can shoot through every wooden surface with every gun, the difference between the ammo types is that compact can only pen thin wooden sheets and has worse damage drop off, but typically faster rate of fire, medium has better pen but a slower rate of fire and an ever so slightly better damage drop off profile than compact ammo (though not really significantly, medium ammo is in a weird place), and long ammo has generally the slowest rate of fire but the best damage over range profile. It will go through basically everything but solid metal, the most notable thing it can go through that the other ammo types can't is the thin sheet metal that is all over the place, only long ammo and full metal jacket bullets can go through that. Base shotgun ammo will go through wood but not sheet metal, and slugs have the same penetration profile as buckshot. Flechette, penny shot, and dragon's breath all have no penetration. Fire ammo, poison ammo, and bleed ammo will not go through anything at all, regardless of the ammo size category it is in. There is a single exception to this and that is the Nitro express bleed ammo has penetration. Also idk if they had added it in the version of the game you guys were playing here, but Smith there is now a gamma slider in game, please turn that up so that you can actually see in the dark.

The first game was great, the second game... not so much. I think the only way to do better in situations like that is to have a clear goal of what you want to accomplish, as well as ironclad teamwork. If you guys had gone in there as one group and stuck together while covering each other (instead of just being in the general vicinity) while focusing on getting the bounties and extracting then I think that would have gone a lot better.

I know you guys save dark sight because you are *really* scared of being ganked at the extraction but holy shit that was a ballsy move leaving the boss area without even using it for 2 quick seconds out of your combined 10, specially since you found it instantly and knew everyone was coming towards your location, getting shot in the back leaving the boss area can be just as frustrating as being ganked at the extraction.

13:59 Birds have been disturbed, possibly by zombies but given proximity to the clues, imagine it's another team of players. Seemingly having approached from the South (heading North East). Trott doesn't appear to have clocked it. 14:15 Close shots confirms my suspicions, Hat Boiks at least don't mistake this.

A Bowie Knife is pronounced "Boo-wee".
@BarackOLlama43 жыл бұрын
A quick google search will tell you that it's mostly pronounced "Boh-ee" and sometimes pronounced "Boo-ee". So it really doesn't matter, but if you want to base it on which is said more often, then it'd be "Boh-ee" :)
@EvanMoore3 жыл бұрын
@@BarackOLlama4 everything you've said is correct. It's said that Texans mainly say it "Boo-wee", and athough I'm not a Texan, I am Southern. The knife is named after the man who made it famous, Jim Bowie. I've only ever heard it as "Boo-wee" in reference to him and his knife in Western movies and The South at large. Now David Bowie is said "Boh-ee", of that we can all agree on. Since they're spelled the same, and David is way more famous with the newer generations, I get why there's confusion. Also, just because more people do something a certain way doesn't mean it's correct.

I don't understand retiring a hunter. Like, I get that if you don't they could die and you lose them, but how is retiring any different? You still lose access to them, don't you?

Retiring “cashes” them in and you get a lump sum of account xp depending on how many levels they had. Account xp unlocks new items.

@@anthonyschlessman1848 I mean in the relative sense, yeah I suppose?
