Cosmetic alterations will be made to fake carbon fiber, not a fan at all of fake CF. Not sure what I'll replace it with, already have the TR trim. Red CF would go with my shift knob, but that might be too much red.

If you pause the video, the tire size is right there...stock 245/40/18. Clearly a significant offset. I have stock tires & wheel size, but 38 offset and it isn't poking that much. My guess is they have 18x8.5 et30...maybe a 9" rim 38 offset.

That's a unicorn problem. ECU is not "trash". Want "trash"? Go inspect a McLaren paint job.

@@Tomas.X your are wrong. If a cam sprocket goes bad it takes the ecu with it 9 out of 10 times. Shouldn't happen from a part that is expected to wear out.

@@Metalozedex why would you put old tech in with new? They fixed the gear gear ratios in the VB wrx unlike the VA wrx which had terrible gear ratios. I’d do the STI 6 speed swap in the VA not the VB

@@rileysimpson6522 It's not about gear ratios. The size of the gears themselves in the STI are way more stout. The WRX is cable driven trans, less feedback from the transmission on this regard and it's also feeble in comparison to the aisin built STI transmission with center differential LSD. STI trans is bulletproof. No wonder every WRX owner who pushes more than 600hp ends up swapping to it. you should try driving one and see for yourself
