Hi toshi, question, from tokyo to fuji is it by shinkansen or regular train? And going to kyoto by shinkansen is it from kawaguchiko or back to tokyo first?

You can get to Mt. Fuji from Tokyo by train or bus. I recommend taking a bus from Mt. Fuji to the Shinkansen station and then catching the Shinkansen to Kyoto!

Hi any idea if your itinerary can use with the jr pass? Will it be more cost efficient? FYI: solo traveller and have more time to explore Japan. I’m flying in to Osaka first then last out from Tokyo. Going in November.
