For this new video, I am joined by Sylvain, who is not only my partner in life but also in work. Together, we will provide you with all the precious advice on how to organize a romantic evening.
Why organize a romantic evening?
You don't necessarily have to wait for Valentine's Day to be romantic. Organizing a romantic evening can help you win over or seduce if you're a young couple, rekindle the love after several years of being together, or strengthen your love story.
How to organize this romantic dinner?
Your evening is an opportunity to surprise your partner. To do it right, send them an invitation. On it, include the address, date, time, and even the dress code!

This will allow your partner to get in the right mood and prepare for the event.
For an evening at home, we recommend eliminating any unexpected interruptions that could disrupt your evening: make arrangements for child care, put your mobile phones on airplane mode, and avoid starting a washing machine or dishwasher. This way, you can focus on each other and your conversation.
What about the musical atmosphere?
For a romantic ambiance, there's nothing like a Love playlist with some well-chosen slow songs. Don't turn the volume up too high so that you can concentrate on each other and your conversation, not just the music.

What meal to prepare?
You don't need to go all out and plan a gourmet menu for this evening. Keep it simple. The idea is not to spend your evening in the kitchen. The meal is just an excuse to spend some quality time together, outside of everyday life.
The meal can be prepared in advance to avoid spending too much time in the kitchen. You can also plan for some appetizers.
To break away from the routine while staying at home, consider setting a lovely table decoration or creating a dining space on the living room table, like a picnic in the garden or by the fireplace. But be mindful, don't plan for a heavy meal; you'll need to burn off some energy after dinner ;)
What about the lighting atmosphere?
For a cozier and more cocooning atmosphere, lower the light intensity. Avoid using your everyday lighting. Opt for indirect lighting with warm light.
Add a few candles, without going overboard with candle holders like in a candlelit dinner.
What topics to discuss during a romantic evening?
There aren't necessarily any rules, but we would advise against discussing topics that could lead to arguments or concerns: work, children, family, taxes, politics, etc.
Instead, focus on discussions about your couple's projects, such as your upcoming vacations.
Talk about your emotions, what you appreciate about each other, give compliments to your partner, or discuss the developments in your relationship and how you see yourselves in 5, 10, or 20 years!
Should you give a gift?
Planning a gift is not obligatory, and an overly expensive gift might make your partner feel uncomfortable if they come empty-handed.
