Hi, what software do you use to edit your videos? I tried to make a split video but I couldn't get the downbeats aligned so the split was just slightly off. Thank you

How do you maintain good rotation/ correct motion of the mallet going at faster speeds? I think for some reason, once i start to incorporate fingers at faster speeds, i "churn the butter" a little bit with my right hand. (i play with wrist rotation)

Play in front of a mirror.

How do you feel about keeping the gap between the index and thumb closed?

tbankable I personally have been taught to play with a very relaxed approach, so for me keeping that gap closed isn't extremely important as long as I maintain a good middle finger-thumb fulcrum.
