Nice one. Under Windows you have 2 native tools for hashing a file. CertUtil -hashfile bigfile.ISO SHA256 and with latest PowerShell Get-FileHash bigfile.ISO -Algorithm SHA256

The part where you showed how to rejoin separate files that were divided isn't clear enough. Because after you divided the single file, you left it components and picked just one part of it to teach how to rejoin. So what happens to the rest?

7zip automatically uses them, they just have to be in the same folder with the appropriate names

This doesn't solve the problem of the Mac Monteray video :( They let you download a 3-part iso, NOT a 3-part zip OF the iso. If you open with 7zip, it will let you extract all 3 as a folder, but that folder is useless. VirtualBox will ask for an iso. How do we join three iso fractions into one iso?

I have downloaded files from Drive, and its folders were splitet, and the 7zip don't recognize those as one, it splits each one. Have any way to unite them all at once istead one by one?

This is really convoluted to put them back together. Is there any zip file software that zips in predetermined sizes but the end user can open them straight away without putting them back together?

Monterey files for VBox are named .iso.001 002 and 003, I tried as 7Zip but it didn't work...

not a bad guide. i came here knowing this already, the problem i'm facing is i have a split file ISO and digging around on the internet makes the claim that rar and 7zip has the context menu entry 'combine files' so i can merge the iso parts and expand it after the fact. i can't find any such menu entry. it's really getting to me. (and WTFF splits an iso anyway? can't they just do what you did?) been dying to get this game, but so far i'm tearing my hair out, even went as for as renaming the file suffix to comply with 7zip but nada. the error response every time is 'unexpected and of archive' and i can't resolve it. if you know of a way i can expand a split iso file please let us know, appreciated.
