To go into presentation mode without going into full screen, click presentation options and then there will will be an option to only make it the size of the window!

Oh my. Lots of talk, but I walked away without the nuance of how to get my PPT to show in presentation mode while I was also on the screen. Thanks for trying.

I think I have an answer. You have to have a few windows open. Go to your PowerPoint (PPT) Click Slide Show Click Set Up slide show Click "Browsed by an individual (window) *This is how your presentation will be "full Screen" but in a window* Start your presentation. On zoom, google meet, or whatever, click "start presenting." Select the window with the PPT. *BASICALLY you are sharing/presenting a WINDOW and not your entire screen.* Resize your window so your PPT is small but you can still see it and can still click on it to advance the slides. Resize your zoom window bigger. I guess click “gallery view” or something similar, so you can see their faces. Tip: Click CHAT and move that window to a different location (So if people chat, it won't pop up and block your PPT or the zoom gallery). I hope that helps! That's what I did for my Den meeting. I was able to get feedback by telling the kids to give me a thumbs up if they could see, hear, etc.

Thank you! Useful.... (but a tiny bit difficult to follow in places if you are a newbie like me!!). Much appreciated!

Helpful in parts, but a bit fast and the noise in the background . . a drill? . . made it difficult to hear and concentrate.

Thanks for the tips. Exactly what I wanted to know. You’re Awesome. Now trying to figure out how do I get files in the zoom share area. I starting putting files in goodie drive to share. Thanks again.

4:50 This is the point where I lose it. When I screen share "a portion" I lose my video of myself and my students. I teach Deaf students and need to show screen AND us be able to see each other for conversations and instruction.... I'm looking for a workaround now but as it stands (even with full version) my video of myself disappears the moment I click share screen....

Ahhh I found it. I was practicing alone. Once I logged in with a second device it permitted that feature.

The question I wanted an answer to is: How do I watch for class reactions (NOT my own face) while I have my PPT slide up on screen share. Did you ever figure that out.

Basically, when you click "Browsed by an individual (window)" and then start presenting, you are sharing/presenting a WINDOW and not your entire screen.

I believe she just opened the powerpoint file by double-clicking the file name.
