When rose gold hardware first came out to Balenciaga, Lampo didn't make rose gold zippers. So for a time, about a year or so, Balenciaga used a different company for rose gold zippers only. And then eventually, Lampo began manufacturing rose gold hardware.

Hi there. I purchased a balenciaga city bag recently and it fits ALL the criteria of a genuine bag. However, it has different colored leather in the front, top corners of the bag, which is unusual. The city bag is bronze metallic, but the corners are dark brown. Have you ever seen a bag like this?

Actually, after a certain season, rose gold hardware was being manufactured by Lampo, and I don't know if they still do it, but I definitely know 2010 RH doesn't have the Lampo stamp.

The leather on the fake is too shiny. Usually they also have a factory odor to them as well. Must say though, that some of these counterfeiters have become scary accomplished on their replicas. But, a fake will never give you that Good feeling a true luxury item does.

The best indicator I've found of an authentic, since not one replica gets this right: Long round notches on the rivets behind the thimble studs.

i actually got it from someone who thought it was real. They were selling it online, and i was able to see it wasnt real so they just gave it to me. It's a very good replica so i think the person really thought it was real.

So buy fake then. Its cheaper and make sure the leather is synthetic. Do it for the animals. On those purses, I prefer the fake one you are showing, because it looks glossier and the material is thicker, I don't like really thin materials that collapse. It looks better, too, in my opinion, that's just my taste and I am not pushing it on others. My comment is supposed to be food for thought. :0)

Heres the solution for that, get a candle (you don't need to fire it) just slide it against the zipper and walla ,your zipper is gonna be softer.

If your going to go into detail you need to be more informative when it comes to tge zipper. Not all authentic balenciaga's have the lampo zipper. Balenciaga don't use the lampo zip on the rose gold hardware. So just to let the viewers who are watching if they have rose gold hardware and it's blank on the back of the zip it's meant to be
